Marketing Club-MARKETECHOS at Asian Business School holds Marketing Quiz- “MARKETING TRIVIA” activity for PGDM students

Part of Asian Education Group and ranked as one of the best B-schools in Delhi NCR – Delhi NCR-based Asian Business School (ABS) held a Marketing Quiz activity by the name of “MARKETING TRIVIA” on Saturday, 5th October 2019 at the college campus located in Noida. The activity was organized under the umbrella of the Marketechos – The Marketing Club. The activity was earmarked for ABS PGDM students.

As far as the objective of the ‘Marketechos-The Marketing Club’ is concerned, it is to instill familiarity about brands and various techniques of effective usage of tools of Marketing through innovative and enjoyable events. The aim of carrying out activities in this club is to enhance students’ experience outside the classroom; to cultivate leadership, teamwork and an understanding of marketing knowledge amongst students; to create and provide a variety of opportunities to students to explore marketing as a career path; to create ‘industry fitness’ for marketing students through development of professional skills; to increase student engagement in marketing events; and to provide students an insight of real life marketing set up.

The Marketing Quiz activity, “MARKETING TRIVIA”, held on Saturday, 5th October 2019 was a wonderful effort towards fulfilling these aims and the ABS PGDM students participated enthusiastically in this activity.

ALC’s CULTURAL CLUB organizes skill development activity – FOLK GROUP SONG COMPETITION – for B.A. LL.B. students

An integral part of Asian Education Group (AEG) and ranked as one of the top law colleges in Noida – Asian Law College (ALC) recently organized a skill development activity by way of a “FOLK GROUP SONG COMPETITION” for its B.A.LL.B. 2018 & 2019 batch students on Thursday, 19th September 2019 at its Noida campus.  The activity was coordinated by “CULTURAL CLUB” (also known as UTSAV), which is one of the several student clubs at Asian Law College (ALC).

Understanding the culture of a nation, people or groups – the arts, beliefs, customs, practices, values and social behaviors – lies at the heart of AEG. By attending cultural events, AEG’s ALC students’ experiences firsthand the diverse offsprings of culture and artistic expression found in a community. The Cultural Club at AEG also promotes opportunities for everyone to experience the culture, participate in educational programs and develop their creative abilities; promote quality and artistic renewal; and promote a dynamic cultural heritage that is preserved, used and developed. Thus, AEG celebrates Diwali, Independence Day, Republic Day, etc., and the key event is the Annual Fest “KESSHET”.

Accordingly, the objective of the “FOLK GROUP SONG COMPETITION” organized by ‘UTSAV-The Cultural Club’ was “to make ALC students aware of the use of folk music and how it can be used to provide entertainment, chronicle events, and teach young people about their culture.”

Project-Based Learning & Placements For PGDM Students Are Directly Correlated

‘Project Based Learning’ – defined as a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge – is the latest buzz around all top PGDM colleges in India.

The reason for this is that present-day rankings of several PDGM institutes indicate the existence of a direct correlation between project-based learning approach and the placements of PGDM students in top companies. ALC’s Student Club, CSR CLUB, organizes skill development activity on FUNK OUT OF JUNK for B.A. LL.B. students

An integral part of Asian Education Group (AEG) and ranked as one of the top law colleges in Noida – Asian Law College (ALC) recently organized a skill development activity on the theme of  “FUNK OUT OF JUNK” for its B.A.LL.B. 2016-21 and 2017-22 batch students on Thursday, 19th September 2019 at its Noida campus. The activity was coordinated by the “CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY CELL” (or CSR Club), a prominent student club of  Asian Law College (ALC).

The objective of the ALC CSR Club is to serve as a venue for awareness and learning of contemporary social and environmental issues in the context of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Everyone at the club is committed to tackling environmental and social issues to leverage support and create awareness of the issues facing the planet.

Accordingly, the aim of the activity ‘FUNK OUT OF JUNK’ was that “Students will be able to understand the concept of waste segregation and further, they will also develop innovative ways of turning waste into something beautiful and useful.”

To talk about the outcomes achieved at this activity, it can be definitely said that the students learned a lot about effective resource conservation and the development of the idea of waste segregation.

ALC’s Student Club, MOOT COURT SOCIETY, organizes skill development activity on CLIENT COUNSELLING for LL.B. students

An integral part of Asian Education Group (AEG) and ranked as one of the top law colleges in Noida – Asian Law College (ALC) recently organized a skill development activity on the theme of  “CLIENT COUNSELLING” for its 1st Semester, 3rd Semester & 5th Semester LL.B. students on Thursday, 19th September 2019 at its Noida campus. The activity was coordinated by the “MOOT COURT SOCIETY”, a prominent student club of Asian Law College (ALC).

The objective of the activity was “to provide the basic knowledge of the Client Counselling sessions and other practical aspects related to it.”

A few of the outcomes of the activity were:

Ø  It allowed students to think creatively and answer convincingly when questioned and show their oratory, writing and persuasive skills.

Ø  It gave practical knowledge to the students by putting them in a hypothetical situation similar to that of a real court.

Ø  It provided the opportunity to the students to socialize and connect with each other and to work together in harmony.

Ø  ALC students participating for the first time got the exposure along with the motivation to take part in a more comprehensive way and in other competitions and moots as well.

PRAKRITI Club at Asian School of Business holds pro-environment “EMOTIBIN COMPETITION” for BBA & BCA students

The PRAKRITI Club at Asian School of Business (ASB) – which is a part of Asian Education Group (AEG) and is ranked as one of the top ranked BBA/BCA colleges in Noida – held a pro-environment club activity called ‘EMOTIBIN COMPETITION’ on Wednesday, 18th September 2019 at its Noida campus. The activity was open for all ASB students of BBA and BCA.

As far as the objective of the ‘PRAKRITI Club’ is concerned, it is to serve the cause of nature and society at large by way of organizing several events to generate the awareness about the environment. As part of these initiatives, groups of young, self-driven students take it upon themselves to spread awareness among the masses for which they keep on carrying out activities from time to time.

The ‘EMOTIBIN COMPETITION’ on Wednesday, 18th September 2019 at ASB’s Noida campus – wherein the students made various structures of bins recycling the waste that helped to motivate everyone in contributing towards the protection of the environment – was a wonderful effort towards fulfilling these aims and all the ASB BBA & BCA students participated enthusiastically in this activity.

The WEBGEEKS Club at Asian School of Business (ASB) – which is a part of Asian Education Group (AEG) and is ranked as one of the top-ranked BBA/BCA colleges in Noida – held an engaging activity called “WEBMASTER” on Wednesday, 25th September 2019. The activity was earmarked for all batches of ASB BCA students.

As far as the objective of the ‘WebGeeks Club Activities’ is concerned, it is to enhance the technical skills amongst the budding IT professionals so that they can prove to be highly efficient in all their endeavors in the corporate world and thereby become highly employable.

The “WEBMASTER” activity on Wednesday, 25th September 2019 at ASB’s Noida campus – which was basically a ‘Website Development Competition’ – was a wonderful effort towards fulfilling these aims and the ASB BCA students participated enthusiastically in this activity.

Industry stalwarts illuminate BBA & BCA students of Asian School of Business at their National Seminar on “Gig Economy-Redefining the Organizations”

Asian School of Business (ASB) – which is a part of Asian Education Group (AEG) and is ranked as one of the top ranked BBA/BCA colleges in Noida – recently organized a highly informative National Seminar on the topic “Gig Economy-Redefining the Organizations” for its students of BBA & BCA on Saturday, 21st September 2019 at its towering campus located at Sector 125, Noida.  

The seminar was put together by ASB’s Research & Development Cell that strives “to become a center of excellence in management & IT education by focused research pursuits through an interface with industry and academia.”

Some of the distinguished dignitaries at the seminar included Dr. J. S. Juneja, Former Chairman – NSIC; Mr. Sandeep Tyagi, Director HR – Samsung Electronics; Mr. Neeraj Narang, Director – HCM Product Strategy – Oracle; Mr. Aditya Chakravarty, Head HR – Travel Triangle; Mr. Agnivesh Thakur, Lead – SAP – HCM Accenture; and Mr. Amit Mishra, Head Talent Management & Development – Landis+Gyr.

The edifying panel discussion brought forth some very relevant points like, “The average span of CEOs has reduced from 20-30 years to 5-8 years nowadays.”, “The companies have to be Nimble footed, Adaptive, Disruptive and Work with Speed, Agility, and Flexibility”, among others.

Expectedly, the national seminar concluded on a high note of knowledge and contributed immensely to the ongoing discussions on the rise of the gig economy that has brought new complexity–and opportunities–to the world of work.

ASB students pursuing Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) & Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) courses from the campus thus had a highly rewarding experience by attending this knowledgeable seminar with such famous corporate luminaries.

Ms. Ashima Mandla, Advocate-Supreme Court of India, enlightens BA-LLB & LLB students of Asian Law College at ALC Distinguished Guest Lecture Session

Asian Law College (ALC) – which is a part of Asian Education Group (AEG)and is ranked as one of the top law colleges in Noida – organized an enlightening Distinguished Guest Lecture session for its law students with the acclaimed legal personality, Ms Ashima Mandla (who is an Advocate at Supreme Court and Secretary at Criminal Justice Society of India) at its Noida campus on Thursday, 12th September, 2019.

Revolving around almost all aspects of the lecture topic “Constitutionalism and Judicial Activism through PIL (Public Interest Litigation)” with a special focus on specific constitutional laws and cases like “Criminal Law Amendment Bill 2019 & Gender Equality in Rape Laws”, “Gender Neutrality under all Sexual Offences”, and “Judicial Activism of Food Security” – he talk by the distinguished guest and the subsequent interactions with students pursuing 5-year BA-LLB & 3-year LLB courses from the ALC campus turned out to be quite interesting and exhaustive for all attendees.
