We are proud to share that the Marwah Studio has completed its glorious journey of 25 years in Film and Entertainment. The foundation of Marwah Studio was laid by Mr. Sandeep Marwah in 1991. Marwah Studio has churned out 4500 Television Programmers’ for 50 Channels associated with 120 feature films 5000 training films in last 25 years.

 Mr.Sandeep Marwah, President, Asian Education Group took this opportunity to share this moment of glory and joy with the staff of Asian Education Group. He presented a silver souvenir to every staff member the token of appreciation and recognition of their services to Marwah Studio and Asian Education Group.

On this prestigious occasion Dr.Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director, Asian Education Group  Mr. Saurabh Sharma, Director(Branding), Asian Education Group and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina , Director (Admissions), Asian Education Group were present. The staff of AEG felt honoured and special by this thoughtful and magnanimous gesture of the President.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS @ABS

Asian Business School has been organizing skill development workshops in all spheres of Management Education. This week IT workshops are being organized with a view to upgrade the existing knowledge and enhancing pragmatic application. These workshops are on the topic “Workshop on MS PowerPoint 2007” and are being conducted for three days.

 The students of PGDM (15-17) batch are attending the same which will initiate and inculcate the right skill set. The training module of the same includes the Microsoft Power Point Interface, Techniques of creating new presentation, Navigation, Changing View, Hyperlinks, Adding Clipart, Text, Appearance, Copying image Transition, Presenting and Printing.

The students of PGDM (15-17) batch are taking part in the same enthusiastically and actively. The skills which they are acquiring in these workshops will help them in their prospective corporate careers as well.

Asianite Harinder Singh of PGDM (14-16) has been selected in the “Just Dial” campus placement drive. We congratulate him on his success and are sure that he will keep up the good work. We are grateful to the company for its support and recognition. The company has selected him as Just Dial Ambassador Sales and Marketing.

Just Dial was founded by VSS Mani who serves as the Managing Director and CEO. He thought of this innovative idea while working for Yellow Pages Company called United Database India. He felt that the information could prove to be much more useful if it could be provided over the phone. The company has offered managerial positions in marketing to our students.

KESSHET -2016; STYLISH, GRAND AND ELEGANT CULTURAL FEST @AEG

Kesshet 2016 proved to be a mega success cultural fest which was enjoyed by one and all. There were a number of events that brought out talent in the students. The participants from 28 colleges showcased their talent in events like Nukkad Natak, Solo Dance “Thirkan”, Group Dance“Step Up”, Solo Song “Alaap”, Fashion Show “Jhalak”, Business Quiz “Master Mindz”, Business Plan “The Right Brain”, Face Painting “Face Grace”, Rangoli “Shades”, Ad mad Show “Adverto”, Battle of Bands and Prom Night. Apart from these events we had a “Selfie Booth”, Food Court and Message Corner; our guests made a good use of the same.

We are proud to share with you the names of the winners of various events – Team from Moti Lal Nehru College, New Delhi (Nukkad Natak); Gunjan Sharma from ABS (Thirkan), Dance Group from ABS ( Step Up), Shivam Saxena from AAFT (Alaap), Team From Indus Business Academy (Master Mindz), Team from ABS (The Right Brain), Priyanka Kalra and Joginder Gujjar from ABS (Face Grace), Team from Government(PG) College (Rangoli), Team from ASMS (Adverto), Team from Amity University, Noida( Battle of Bands) , Shivansh – Shilpa,  ABS (Prom Night) and Team ABS for Western Fashion(Fashion Show). The winners were given prizes by Mr. Sandeep Marwah, Chairman, Asian Education Group along with Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director, Asian Education Group and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina, Director(Admissions), Asian Education Group. The Chief Guest of this scintillating evening was Ms. Richisha Gulati Sikka, the famous Master of Ceremony, TV Anchor and Actress.

The grand finale of Kesshet 2016 was the star night by the renowned Punjabi Pop Singer Prabh Gill. The huge crowd from across 28 colleges of Delhi/NCR danced and enjoyed the performance of this phenomenal star.

We are proud to share that Kesshet 2016 was undoubtedly a block buster event which will be cherished for the times to come.

ASIANITES @CII CONFERENCE

Asianites attended the conference at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on 22nd March, 2016. The topic of this conference was “Making India the Global Hub of Best-in-Class Manufacturing”. The conference was held in The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi. This summit aimed at focusing about the “Make in India” program and the deliberation was held on the topics –

  1. Making India the global hub of best-in- class manufacturing
  2. CEO Panel Discussion –“Is make in India possible without Manufacturing Excellence?”
  3. Designing a best –in-class Manufacturing set up from “Good to Great Manufacturing”
  4. Sustaining Manufacturing

The Chief Guest included Dr. Arvind Panagariya, Vice Chancellor, Niti Aayog, Government of India. The eminent guests in the conference included- Mr. S.Y. Siddiqui, Summit Chairman and Chief Mentor, Marauti Suzuki. Mr. Baba N.Kalyani, Chairman &Managing Director, Bharat Forge limlited, Padam Shree Dr. Pritam Singh, Author &Chief Executive Officer, LEAD Centre and Mr. Naresh T.Rai Singhania, Founder &Managing Director of “Break through Management  Group  India along with other dignitaries.

The students of PGDM (15-17) Batch got a rare opportunity to be part of the summit which was set against the backdrop of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “ Make in India” initiative. The Asianites were updated about the challenges and expectations of this initiative. This summit undoubtedly broadened their vision and understanding about the India Inc.

INAUGURATION OF KESSHET -2016 @AEG

The inaugural ceremony of Kesshet -2016, the 4th edition of cultural Fest of the Asian Education Group culminated in style. This grand opening was witnessed by 28 colleges of Delhi NCR.

The Guest of honour of this grand ceremony was Mr. Sumit Awasthi, Dy. Managing Editor of TV18 Broadcast Ltd. He was presented the Lifetime Membership of the International Business and Management Research Centre by Mr. Sandeep Marwah, Chairman, Asian Education Group along with Dr. Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director, Asian Education Group and Mr. Gurdeep Singh Raina, Director (Admissions), Asian Education Group.

The distinguished guests shared their words of wisdom with the students and announced the opening of the cultural fest –Kesshet 2016 with style.

The ambience of Asian Business School is completely immersed in the melodious music. The students are busy perfecting their dance moves and rehearsing their cat walk for the final countdown. The beat of Bhangra, the western music, the solo performances – the students are doing it all … The beautiful campus is looking awesome with breathtaking decoration.

The Chinese Lanterns and globes add more colour to the whole ambience…the stage is set. Amphitheatre is decked up with all its grandeur. The performances of the Asianites will definitely set the stage on fire.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT @ ANMOL BISCUITS LIMITED

The students of PGDM (15-17) batch were taken to visit the industrial visit on 12th March 2016 to Anmol Biscuits Limited, Greater Noida. The students got an opportunity to get a corporate exposure by the means of industrial visit. Such visits make the young and budding managers broaden their understanding with respect of corporate functioning.

Anmol Biscuits Limited is an established brand and a prominent player in Biscuits and Confectionary market in India. With a turnover of over Rs.1000 crore, Anmol operates with an all-India sales network of over 15 lakh retailers and 6,000+ distribution channels.

ABS STUDENT SELECTED IN AMUL

We wish to share with you yet another success story of Asianite Deepak Sekhri of PGDM (14-16) batch. At the initiative of CRC department of ABS, Amul as a brand agreed to come and selected Deepak Sekhri as Business Development Executive.

Amul is an Indian dairy cooperative, based at Anand in the state of Gujarat, India. Formed in 1946, it is a brand managed by a co operative society, the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. (GCMMF), which today is jointly owned by 3.6 million milk producers in Gujarat. Amul spurred India’s white revolution which made the country the world’s largest producer of milk and milk products. Amul is the largest food brand in India today and has ventured into markets overseas. We thank the company for recognizing and appreciating Asianites.

MAKE IN INDIA INITIATIVE @ASIAN BUSINESS SCHOOL

Asian Business School extended a warm welcome to the delegation that came to our campus to inaugurate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Make in India” initiative. The esteemed delegate was an internationally acclaimed Entrepreneur, Er. Raj Nidhi Sharma, Director, Total Nurture Technologies, Malaysia.

 Er. Raj Nidhi Sharma inspired the students of PGDM program about the incredible opportunities “Make in India” initiative has presented before them. He took the workshops on 11th and 12th March, 2016 and ignited the thought process of the young managers towards digitalization. He talked about vast coverage; the young entrepreneur can avail via social networking sites. He stressed upon the innovative techniques that bring about impressive output.

On the second day of the workshop, Dr.Lalitya Vir Srivastava, Director, Asian Business School presented Er.Raj Nidhi Sharma Lifetime Membership of International Business and Management Research Centre.

The students of PGDM took keen interest in the sessions and they understood that inculcating entrepreneurial skills will not only bring about a boom for themselves but also enhance India’s GDP. We are grateful to the esteem guest to have shared his words of wisdom with the budding managers.
